Violence

Okay. Just saw 'Four Christmases" with the parents. Felt really sick of films being all about... love, and relationships. At least the kind that I watch. They all have it as the plot, or subplot. I did watch 'High Fidelity' last night, and really liked that. Really brilliant film, if I've seen one. On a related note to that, I should be getting my dictaphone soon, and can start occasionally recording my craziness... and maybe posting it here. Depends on the genre.

So, back to the point of this post. Exhausted with the whole love/relationship stuff in the media. Its everywhere! Not saying I don't want it for myself, but don't really need it in my face all the time. So I'm writing a short story now. I'm actually going to carry this one out to the end, too. Won't be too long. Its all about a bank robbery. People die. Thats all. Crazy guy organises a bank robbery, people die, stuff happens. I've written a bit, and should be continuing later tonight, or tomorrow. Depends. Here is what I have so far:

"Hello, sir. How may I help?"
A man in leather, short brown hair, glasses; clean shaven. He almost looks like Nicolas Cage, with his gaunt face and stocky build.
"Just a deposit today." He hands me the forms, I type the information into the computer. An error.
"Sir, your account isn't listed in our system." I look over and he has a gun raised to me. I scream.
"Don't push the alarm or I'll blow your pretty little face away, alright?"
Four other men have already closed off the room. Cage raises his hand and waves his wrist. Gunshots, uncountable, but I know the security team is gone.
"Get everyone into the corner! Now," he glances at my name badge,"Mary, call the manager and tell him to get out here. We need to talk."
Uncontrollabe shaking, hysterics, but I pick up the phone, dial the extension.
"Sir, could you see me out here? This man would like to talk to you. He has a gun." I put down the reciever. "He is on his way."
"Good."

I pulled the trigger, one twitch and her ghostly mug was gone, her body fell back. Screaming and crying. I couldn't trust her, that shit about the gun. Real bloody, she must have known she was fucked. Damn, I hate setups.
